Born in Norway and now based in London, his journey began in 2019 when he earned his Master's Degree in Composition from the National Film and Television School in the UK. Underpinning his promising rise is a mentorship with film composer Natalie Holt, which sparked collaborations on several notable productions, including Marvel's Loki and the Star Wars television series Obi-Wan Kenobi.

What sets Andreas apart is his remarkable ability to weave interesting and evocative sounds and textures into his compositions, always with attention on how to tell a story and enhance the characters of the film through music. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of musical luminaries, including  Jóhann Jóhannsson, Moondog, Son Lux, Ben Frost, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer and Sergei Prokofiev, he fearlessly incorporates unconventional sounds and instruments into his writing, whether a bicycle wheel or the sounds of the human body.

Introduced to music through playing the guitar in rock bands, he has been pursuing his dream of being a film composer ever since having an original composition performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Oslo during his music studies in High School. Andreas' journey continued with an extensive education in Music Technology at the Norwegian University for Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. This included traditional composition courses and courses on film history and theory, which set the stage for a deep understanding of cinematic storytelling.

Today, Andreas is steadfast in his pursuit of honing his craft and making impactful soundtracks, with dreams of scoring Films and TV shows that tell compelling cinematic stories.
Simultaneously, he is dedicated to sharing more of his standalone music, exploring diverse musical expressions, with his recent EP “Songs of the Tomorrow”, supported by Help Musicians, marking the beginning of an ambitious new chapter in his artistic journey.
