Andreas Aaser - Composer

Andreas Aaser is a Norwegian composer and multi-instrumentalist based in London, known for his boundary-pushing approach to music. Passionate about exploring new soundscapes that bring a fresh perspective, Andreas infuses his work with an innovative edge, while still maintaining a strong sense of melody and storytelling.

His love for great films and storytelling has led him to co-compose the music for Channel 4 drama Deadwater Fell (starring David Tennant) with Emmy-nominated composer Natalie Holt. Their collaboration earned a nomination for "Best Original Score" in the RTS Craft & Design Awards. Andreas further worked with Natalie on Marvel's TV series Loki and the Star Wars TV series Obi-Wan Kenobi, providing additional music. Currently, he is working with Natalie on Loki season 2.

In addition, 2023 saw the release of Andreas' first solo work, "The Wayfarer" - an EP Supported by Help Musicians, which he recorded with the prestigious Ligeti Quartet.

Andreas holds a MA in Composition from the National Film and Television School (NFTS) and a BA in Music Technology with additional Film Studies from NTNU in Norway. He is a member of BAFTA Connect and is supported by Help Musicians for his first EP release.
